We are currently seeking a Project Engineer for our Las Vegas, NV division.
Job Description
Responsible to assist the Construction Project Manager in their overall daily activities as they relate to the operations and administrative functions of a project from construction commencement through completion. Duties include and are not limited to:
Attend and take notes at pre-job construction meeting Gathering, verifying, and processing of submittals for approval from the client/architect Obtain the appropriate permits with the city/county Prepare and maintain field folders for superintendents and foremen Assist with plan take-offs for project revisions Maintain and update plan sets with latest revisions Assist in maintaining project schedules based on proposal and client schedule Assist in processing RFIs
Job Skills/Qualifications: Commercial landscape construction and/or general contracting experience preferred Be able to read landscape and irrigation system plans, details, and specifications Basic knowledge of general construction within ;the landscaping industry Strong ability to communicate clearly Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Timberline, Outlook, etc.) Strong ability to define and solve practical problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions Bilingual (English & Spanish) is a plus
