O+D Builders (www.od-builders.com), a fast growing high-end general contracting/construction management firm seeks a detail oriented Assistant Project Manager with excellent communication, organization and computer skills to handle new construction projects within the New York area. This individual should also possess some technical knowledge and some project management experience in a comparable environment.

 

Job responsibilities will include the following:Buy-out projects Handle monthly GC pay applications Write AIA subcontracts Maintain and monitor overall construction schedule Coordinate with Project Superintendents and EstimatorCommunicate with Clients and Bank Reps Communicate with Architects, Engineers for RFIs and job related issues Review all Shop Drawings Handle entire project submittal process with Owners/Architects/Engineers Light administrative duties

Candidates should possess the following skills:General construction background, knowledge and experience Knowledge and ability to read and understand construction specs, read drawings and do take offs  Willing to travel to jobsites Computer skills (Timberline and Microsoft Office) and scheduling experience
