Accounts Payable Specialist

Pacific Transportation Services, LLC, a regional transportation provider, has an immediate opening for an Accounts Payable Specialist.  This position is responsible for the daily coding and posting of all payable invoices to ensure that all expenses are correctly recorded.  This position will have direct communication with all vendors and will report to the Controller.

 

The successful candidate will have a minimum 5 years experience in a similar role and have specific skills as follows: Working knowledge of PC applications including Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook. Excellent proven verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multi task and prioritize work load with minimal supervision. Working knowledge of accounting processes. Strong data entry skills.

 

Qualifications: Associate’s degree in Accounting or Business or equivalent experience desired. Five years experience in an accounting environment with similar responsibilities. Experience in a transportation or job costing environment desired.
