3rd Shift Maintenance Technician

We are still looking for the right candidate to complete our maintenance team!

 

Butler-MacDonald, Inc. is an award-winning and well known company within the plastics recycling industry and needs a maintenance technician who can help us sustain our equipment and processes to maintain that reputation!

 

 

We are seeking an experienced Technician with Mechanical Troubleshooting skills to add to our team on 3rd Shift. 

 

 

On a daily basis, you will perform troubleshooting and repair techniques on manufacturing equipment, electrical and mechanical systems.  You will analyze, troubleshoot, build, maintain, and repair complex equipment.

 

 

Additional responsibilities include:

*Performing general facilities maintenance (wiring, running conduit, HVAC, plumbing and electrical).

 

*Working on Forklifts, Pumps, Conveyors and Pneumatic equipment

 

 

You will also be interacting with production staff on a regular basis.

 

 

Skills needed:Associate’s degree from a two-year college or technical school preferred, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment working with forklifts, gear boxes, pumps, drive systems, conduit, wiring, and motorsExperience troubleshooting and maintaining equipmentWorking knowledge of 480 voltage systems, electronics, DC drives and AV invertersProficiency with basic mechanical/hydraulic and pneumatics
