crystal report writer

Job Description:  Under minimal supervision, given customer or management requirements and/or specifications, provides appropriate research and/or executed reports to meet customer needs. The successful candidate must be able to deliver all research, analysis, SQL coding, and report design on individual assignments or lead small projects.

 

Responsibilities:

· Researching customer questions

· Create and modify Crystal Reports to meet customer and management requirements

· Create all supporting report documentation

· Create adhoc production queries to meet customer and management requirements

· Work with DBA to test and execute on request production updates

· Debug and fix problems with existing reports

· Lead small to medium projects concerning reporting issues

 

Qualifications:

· Minimum 5+ years of Reports experience

· Excellent knowledge of Crystal Reports

· Excellent working knowledge of SQL

· 4 years Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server experience

· 2 years experience in the other above (Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server)

· Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, listening)

· Excellent Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word skills

· SQL Designer

· PL/SQL

· T-SQL

· Rational ClearQuest

· Rational ClearCase
