Intuit Workplace Solutions is looking for a talented and creative Manager (based in one of the following locations Plano, TX, Tucson, AZ or remote) to create and manage diverse programs focused on Facility Construction Remodels, Environmental Sustainability and Employee Competitive Services. The newly created programs will align with Intuit’s business strategy and enable our continued effective and efficient global growth.

The newly created position will be responsible for:

Construction Project Management of Interior Remodels: @30 - 60% of time focused on construction project management end to end process and daily oversight leading to on time and budget delivery of interior space remodel projects. These projects range in complexity and scope. Project Manager must be capable of driving key operating mechanisms, measurements while partnering with outside project managers and third party contractors to ensure delivery against business objectives. This manager must also be skilled at requirements gathering, negotiation and translation of business requirements to trade off analysis delivering with a total company mindset.

Sustainability Programs and Offerings: @10 - 25% of time focused on partnering with local site Green Teams and Intuit’s Enterprise Social Responsibility Leader to research and develop new programs that are in alignment with making our world a better place while delivering for share holders. These new program ideas will be analyzed for appropriate fit and if selected, packaged for end to end delivery across our facilities appropriately in partnership with the Workplace Services Team.

Competitive Services that enable Talent Management: @10 - 25% of time focused on understanding what the employee service needs are (in partnership with Workplace Services Team) with a special focus on markets where we compete for talent. Developing appropriate programs (food, beverage, fitness, commute, other) and business cases to support programs including guidelines and measurement for operation.

Candidates must apply proven and rigorous program management principles and techniques, effective change management strategies and provide leadership for diverse teams and managers. Responsibilities span across the entire Intuit Enterprise as the solutions and projects impact all locations.

Typical work includes effectively partnering with leaders at all levels (as well as outside contractors) and providing seamless handoffs of new offerings to our Workplace Services Team in order to deliver business results. Service delivery will range from project management of large interior remodel projects to creating strategic programs leading to packaged offerings around Sustainability (Energy Management, etc) and Site Competitive Programs (Food, Fitness, Commute, etc).

This position will partner with Business, Human Resource, Workplace, IT and Finance leaders (as well as outside third party management and liaison) to develop new Workplace Solutions Offerings and site service delivery plans to ensure their execution.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate that they have successful and measurable experience including:

• Ability to create strategies and partner to influence across business and functional organizational boundaries
• Be an active partner with leadership to drive consistent programs and services throughout Intuit
• Develop and manage projects (on time / budget) to achieve measurable goals as they align with enterprise initiatives – Key Focus Areas include: Construction Project Management, Sustainability Programs, Competitive Services Programs.
• Create and execute change management strategies, project work plans and manage related communications
• Identify and manage trade-offs with resource allocation (people, time, money)
• Manage day-to-day operational aspects of offering and remodel projects and their scope to include risk assessments, contingency plans, and vendor compliance to stated service level agreements.
• Conduct effective and ongoing tollgate/operations review sessions

In addition, this leader must have the following abilities:

• Negotiate and manage contracts and suppliers necessary to support offerings creation and implementation in partnership with Workplace Services Team.
• Continually drive repeatable, sustainable and scalable process improvements and project handoffs to Workplace Services Team.
• Confidently make high impact and timely decisions
• Improve customer's experiences by understanding and focusing on what's important, measure how we are doing and drive necessary priorities to improve
• Create an environment where people are encouraged to share information and constructively debate


• MBA or equivalent university degree or experience preferred
• 5-10 Years proven Operations or Facility Management, Construction Project Management and Leadership experience (or equivalent). Proven experience building Facility Energy Management Programs, Food Service, Commute Programs and Fitness Programs is highly desired.
• Demonstrate excellent initiative, judgment, collaboration, influence, decision making skills
• Proven ability to lead and manage complex negotiations
• Proven project management skills, Project Management Certification Preferred but not required.
• Working knowledge and demonstrated examples of process improvement techniques/skills (Process Excellence/Six Sigma certification preferred)
• Solid working knowledge of Microsoft and Oracle products as well as financial processes/reports
• Ability to travel up to 15% of time.
