We are looking for an experienced Windows System Administrator who wants to apply technical expertise to deliver innovative enterprise solutions.

Job Duties (include but not limited to):

 

§ Perform installing, configuring, and maintaining of Windows servers in an Active Directory Domain environment.

§ Apply patches and perform on-going maintenance of technologies.

§ Manage server backups.

§ Manage and maintain Active Directory Group Policy, DFS, DNS, DHCP, WINS, LDAP, and SUS.

§ Perform Server hardware configuration, RAID Failure/Recovery, and Disaster Recovery.

§ Manage system security and performance.

§ Perform performance monitoring and tuning, on-call phone duties, and off-hour/weekend work when required.

§ Respond to incidents in a timely manner.

 

Job Qualifications:

 

§ A minimum of five years experience with Windows 2000/2003 administration in mid- to large-size, high-transaction, high availability (24x7) environments.

§ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related area, preferred.

§ Active Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) clearance is required.

§ A minimum of five years experience with Windows DNS/DHCP/WINS across Windows NT, 2000, and 2003.

§ A minimum of three years experience with managed storage and backup solutions.

§ Experience with advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving required.

§ Demonstrated business communication skills including both oral and written.

§ Up-to-date Windows MCSE/MCSA certification preferred.

§ SAN and NAS technologies experience preferred.

§ VMWare experience preferred.
