Websphere Portal Administrator (development side)

p { font-size: 11px; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; line-height: 12px; } Responsibilities Incumbent will be working with Websphere ver 5.x and 6.x to support our handset self service applications team.Will be providing support to the app dev team to troubleshoot day to day applications issues and install/upgrade new version + new fixes. p { font-size: 11px; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; line-height: 12px; } Qualifications 3+yrs of Websphere portal + application server administration.Solid unix environment experience is required (not a windows environment).some Java development experience is desired.Bachelor degree in Computer Science/Information Systems 4+ years of information systems experience; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience4+ years of information systems experience; or an equivalent combination of education and work experienceStrong programming and analytical skillsPC literacy, including desktop applications competency (e.g., Microsoft Office, e-mail, etc.) Strong business knowledge and interpersonal skills In-depth knowledge of information systems conceptsStrong knowledge of applicable methodologies, tools, standards, and proceduresDemonstrated decision-making and leadership abilitiesStrong organizational and problem solving abilitiesStrong verbal and written communication skills We are an equal opportunity employer m/f/d/v.
