Web User Experience Designer

Job Description/ Responsibilities • Develop and manage creative guidelines for the worldwide external site that will implement corporate branding guidelines and bring consistency to the online experience. • Develop and guide the use of a set of page layout templates that reflect creative guidelines while allowing flexibility to market to various customer segments differently and appropriately. • Work with interactive design agency and individually to create web page layouts for new feature/functionality. • Represent, implement, and evangelize best practice design, usability, and information architecture. • Position will be based in Ft. Worth, TexasRequirements • Mastery of web design, usability, and information architecture best practices • Effective in translating high-level marketing and business requirements into project design plans • Experienced in all phases of website creative deliverables – IA maps, wireframes, comps, prototypes, presentation code • Knowledgeable in designing for global deployment • Experienced in managing remote usability testing and applying its results • Strong project management and budget management experience • Persona experience a plus Qualifications • 5-7 years website design experience on software technology sites (consumer, SMB, enterprise);  global experience required • Strong conceptual, design, and production skills with good attention to detail • Expert knowledge of Photoshop, XHTML, CSS • Comfortable with multiple projects and deadlines • Education:  BA/BS in Design or related discipline;  advanced degree a plus • Candidates should submit portfolio and URLs to websites they have produced
