Web Solutions Architect   Position Overview: Mortgage Cadence is looking for an experienced Web Solutions Architect with strong object-oriented, C#/.NET development skills. Position is located in the Denver Tech Center area. We are a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner and makers of Mortgage Cadence Orchestrator -- a leading mortgage lending (LOS) product. The candidate should have 5+ years of experience with architecture, analysis and development of scalable, secure, high-performance enterprise web solutions. This position requires a thorough understanding of multi-tier architectures, and the ability to design and develop software components across all tiers of a distributed enterprise application, including front end components (both Web and Windows), business objects, and database stored procedures. Microsoft SQL Server programming experience is required. Ideal candidate should possess strong technical, analytical and communication skills, and be well versed in prioritizing, multi-tasking and managing workload to meet critical timelines without compromising overall product quality. Experience in the mortgage lending industry is desirable, but not required. Responsibilities: Establish repeatable processes to analyze performance and scalability of existing web solutions during their development. Use the empirical data to enhance existing frameworks and/or develop best practices in order to ensure performance objectives are achieved. Ensure that security objectives are achieved by evaluating existing frameworks for potential vulnerabilities, and establishing a set of processes and/or best practices to ensure ongoing commitment to secure code initiative. Design high quality application architectures that meet customer requirements and are consistent with enterprise architectural standards Review and approve system architectures, including logical and physical application designs, and ensure that all designs and code meet scalability, performance and security requirements. Ensure compliance with established architectural direction and standards through cross organization consulting and direct involvement in development efforts On-site expert in web application design and development Qualifications:   · Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field · 5+ years C# .NET experience (.NET 2.0+ required) · 3+ years ASP.NET experience.  · 3+ years database programming experience (MS SQL Server required) · 5+ years of experience building scalable, secure, high-performance web applications.  · Comprehensive knowledge of core web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript and AJAX, as well as thorough understanding of Windows Server / IIS infrastructure. · Demonstrable web UI and information architecture design skills with ability to show relevant work in a high-availability environment · Demonstrable architectures providing scalable solutions · Demonstrated application of architecture strategies, standards, processes, and tools in their solution designs · Understanding of N-Tier architecture and related best practices · Understanding of OOD, UML and Entity Relation Diagrams; modeling experience is a plus · Team player, strong communication skills, dependable, must be a self-starter · Experience leading development teams a plus · Understanding of emerging technologies a plus
