Web QA Specialist

Celerity of PA is currently looking to hire a Web QA Specialist.  Celerity is a Mid-Atlantic based consulting firm with offices in Pennsylvania, Virginia, New York, and Boston. Description of Job Title:

As a QA Specialist, you are expected to maintain a detailed focus on thoroughly testing the websites and web applications developed by our Web Developers. You will be responsible for ensuring we are delivering websites and applications of the highest quality to our clients. You must work with both internal and contracted team members to complete tasks on time, within scope and within budget. Success in this position will depend heavily on your ability to pay attention to detail and compare proposed solutions to the actual development. Essential to this position are strong skills in identifying defects and writing detailed descriptions of the defects. Responsibilities include finding and reporting errors and/or missed functionality as per the business requirements for websites and applications.  You will also be expected to be able to verify that the actual website developed matches the approved graphical web design compositions exactly.

 

Minimum Qualifications:1-2 years work experience in software testing.Good oral and written communications skills.Ability to work in fast-paced environment.Exceptional ability for attention to detail.Understanding of generally accepted QA processes and procedures.
