Web Marketing Project Managaer Description Global Web Marketing & StrategyWeb Globalization Support Project Description Manages technical and content aspects of global content rollouts, including translation implementation and web development Supports  global web sites from a technical standpoint Manages globalization and localization tools based on Translation Memory and translation workflow Project Manages global content rollout workflows, including scope, requirements, timelines for translation, implementation, documentation and web development Job DescriptionProject manager/developer responsible for supporting and enforcing corporate design, creation, publishing and maintenance of external global company web sites, including internationalization, localization and overall functionality. Initiate technical development of web-based campaigns in multiple languages, coordinating corporate, theater and in-country resources. Participate in the development, assessment, implementation and communication processes to appropriate stakeholders, i.e. clients, vendors, as well as in-country resources, in close collaboration with the Global Web Marketing & Strategy Technical Lead and the Project Manager. Manages graphics localization tool and processes. Provides light technical training and assistance to educate internal team and company resources on the use and benefits of various internationalization tools. Tracks own progress, overall adoption, implementation, and web metrics. Requires knowledge of commercial internet/web publishing tools and  internal tools, protocols and guidelines. Primary Responsibilities:Global Content Management Responsible to support globalization of targeted web-based campaigns from a technical standpoint; establish partnerships with the Global Technical Lead and Global Business PM along with the authoring, editing and publishing communities; documents projects and objectives; create web templates; gathers and centralizes documentation and guidelines; tracks country adoption of site assets; manages translation implementation and tools; manages and enforces global adoption of tracking and web metrics Primary tasks: Maintenance of web sites including initial creation, publishing & ongoing support Supports local teams in identifying objectives; metrics and success criteria; content to be localized; templates Educates internal team and company resources on the use and benefits of various tools (Spotlights Generator; Banner Ad Tool) and processes Communications related to the gathering of localized data (search dictionaries; resource bundles; etc) Solves publishing needs by using overall knowledge of internal site and appropriate tools Quality Assurance; documentation and guidelines  Requirements  Job Requirements: Candidate must have 2+ years of web experience. Must have 1+ year of internationalization, localization and translation project management experience with a primary focus on web. Candidate must have strong communication skills.   Working knowledge of translation management solutions, translation memory and terminology database. Good to have Working knowledge of several web editors (Dreamweaver, Homesite, etc.) as well as graphics applications such as Photoshop. Plus to be able to troubleshoot technical problems as well as use technical support system.
