Seeking a full-time web and Flash multimedia designer to join our marketing team. OTI is the developer of ETAP, the most sophisticated power system analysis and simulation software in the world. OTI is a privately held company. OTI headquarters is located in Irvine, California. OTI maintains a global distributor network of over 70 countries.

 

Summary of Position

Responsible for the design of multimedia based projects for web, CD, and DVD.

 

Key Responsibilities

§ Create multimedia tutorials based on computer recording software demonstrations with voice narration.

§ Creative design of web sites with online tutorials.

 

Requirements

The successful candidate will have the following:

 

§ Over 5 years web and multimedia experience working in a corporate environment

§ Must have expert knowledge in Dreamweaver and Flash

§ Degree in web design, multimedia, or in related field

§ Strong conceptual, design, layout, editing and production skills

§ Excellent written and verbal communication skills

§ Exceptional attention to detail

§ Strong organizational skills

§ Ability to multitask and meet deadlines

§ Ability to produce projects from conception through completion

§ Team player

 

Computer Knowledge & Skills

 

§ Candidate must have excellent skills and experience working in the PC Windows environment (not Mac)

§ Advanced skills required: Flash, Dreamweaver, computer software recording, video and audio editing

§ Intermediate skills required: Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Acrobat

§ Additional skills preferred: ASP.net, JavaScript

§ Must know Action Script and CSS

§ Knowledge of the following a plus: E-Commerce, Illustrator, InDesign
