Web Developers

The America's Army Web Development Team is seeking a number of organized individuals with excellent communication skills and a comprehensive understanding of professional web development.  We are seeking multiple individuals on a full and part time basis to work remotely and on-site.

 

*One full time candidate may be asked to consider relocation to Huntsville, Alabama*

 

What you will be doing:

·Help the web team define user experiences and design interfaces from concept to production for new and existing sites and other interactive mediums

·Work closely with creative and production teams to both implement and suggest/experiment with new ways to use web technologies while enforcing and maintaining strict coding standards

·Build out web pages to exactly match design comps

·Produce creative online concepts for sites and web content

·Manage content from a variety of sources (producers, designers, copy editors)

·Develop wire frames demonstrating concept flow and interactivity

·Interact with other team members for collaborative projects

·Quality assures and maintains all aspects of assigned websites

What you need for this position:

·Strong PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML experience

·Strong Flash and ActionScript skills

·Strong understanding and implementation of OOP methods

·Experience integrating backend (middle-ware) structures into a Flash environment

·Strong foundation in visual/interface design, motion graphics and UI design

·Experience working with the development team to execute creative solutions

·Detailed and organized / Excellent communicator

·Ability to multi task and manage multiple assignments simultaneously

Other Qualifications:

·3+years of proven web experience

·Knowledge of multiple web technologies & best practices

·Adaptability to a rapidly changing environment

·An avid gamer with a passion for creating feature-rich interactive applications

Bonus Experience:

·Detailed knowledge of America's Army or similar games a plus

·Database Integration (MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL)

·Experience with Shockwave, Maya and Director

·Game development experience and/or strong sense of motion are a plus

·Experience with entertainment & media websites

·Experience with branding and marketing

·Experience creating programmatic animations
