Web Developer / Java DeveloperDescription: A leading Financial Institution in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Web Developer for a Direct Hire opportunity.The Web Developer will design, develop, test and maintain portions of the J2EE applications for all client maintained websites. The Developer will work with the technical writer to maintain and document the applications and processes. The Developer will analyze support issues associated with J2EE applications. The candidate will also manage project efforts with other departments. The Developer will maintain effective relationships throughout all departments. The candidate will develop applications within specified timeframes. Architect enterprise level applications The candidate will show teamwork and dedication to developing strong relationships with co-workers Mentor other developers Other duties as assigned by supervisor. Volt is an Equal Opportunity Employer Requirements: Candidates applying to this position must possess the following skills:Minimum 4 years experience developing J2EE applications (primary role) Bachelors Degree in IS/IT field or equivalent experience. Experience with Struts, developing web services, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, diagramming with UML, and using an enterprise level relational database . Fundamental knowledge of Java. Excellent people, verbal, and organizational skills Ability to communicate well in writing and orally required along with being self motivated, dedicated, and reliable. Knowledge of Financial Industry a plus.
