Web Developer/Graphic Designer

A  technology solutions firm based in Baton Rouge, LA has immediate openings for a motivated and talented Web Page / Graphic Designer.  Successful candidate will be involved in every stage of the end-to-end web development process from requirements gathering to design, implementation and testing.  We are looking for an individual who possess the following characteristics:

  self-starter, highly motivated team player solid educational and technical skills adhering to established industry best practices demonstrated professional experience

 

Duties & Responsibilities:Work either independently and/or as a member of a team of technology professionals to complete Web application development projects.Interact with client representatives and team members and translate requirements into a professional, innovative web designs.

Ensure software quality assurance standards are achieved and validate that business goals are accomplished.Develop time estimates for web design projects.Support knowledge transfer among team member where appropriateParticipate in peer design and code reviewsExercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action including weighing the costs of various solutions against their benefits and risks.



 

 

 

 REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:2+ years of experience designing and building Web applications

 

B.S. in Computer Science or related discipline from accredited college or university

Experience in proven web development tools like Front Page, Dreamweaver, Flash.

2+ years of experience with the full systems lifecycle covering requirements, design, development, unit testing and delivery of web applications.

 



1+ yrs experience with HTML or PHP or Javascript



Strong verbal and written communication skills
