Web Designer/Developer - Marketing
Tyler web sites receive thousands of visitors each week. They are customers, prospects, employees and job seekers. The Webmaster is responsible for attracting visitors to the site and generating return visits. The position is also responsible for providing easy navigation, current information, and consistent branding messages.
Qualifications BA Degree Computer Science/Information Systems or related field. At least two years experience maintaining web sites with DotNetNuke and Dreamweaver. Knowledge of HTML, SharePoint, Photoshop, ASP, JavaScript, Flash preferred.Â
Responsibilities Develops and maintains the content of client and web facing sites Adheres to strict corporate standards; continuity and consistency are a priority Monitors and analyses site traffic Develops search engine marketing strategies Provides first-level web site user support Performs other duties as required or assigned
The Webmaster must be able to: Manage large volumes of information and work with multiple sources of information Understand and convey company messages and objectives on the web and in print media Communicate with and understand the needs of non-technical internal clients Perform research and adapt with new technologies and tools Self-motivated and creative Handle multiple tasks while paying close attention to details Work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
