Job Purpose
DataTech is currently looking for a Web Based Training Specialist who will be responsible for the creation of Web-Based Training courseware, management of, and success of WBT training delivery. This is a 6 month contract position with very competitive pay and benefits for the individual that has the education and experience necessary.
Work Authorization Requirement:
Applicant must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder and will be required to obtain Department of Defense Security Clearance - NAC Check. (NAC Check sponsored by DataTech/Client)
Education/Experience Required
· Minimum of Associates Degree
· Experience with Oracle Tutor
· Minimum three years experience in developing web-based/computer-based training.
· Expert knowledge of web authoring and front-end development, HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, CSS,
· Expert knowledge of Macromedia Dreamweaver or equivalent
· Strong knowledge of Flash 5 (or higher) and Actionscript
· Moderate technical competence with design layout, editing, proofing, and production
· Working knowledge of image creation and manipulation in Adobe PhotoShop and/or Illustrator
· Experience with Internet protocols, browser dependent features, security issues
· Familiar with web hosting (Windows NT, T1, DSL, etc.) and LAN/WAN networking and security
· Experienced implementing SCORM and AICC standards for Web-Based Training
Responsibilities
· Profile and analyze network capacity and infrastructure
· Create and maintain HTML templates for rapid courseware development
· Generate custom navigation and website functionality
· Design, develop, and deploy Web-Based Training
· Coordination of development team of content, multimedia, and graphics developers
· Ensure that all web-based training development milestones are met
· Conduct reviews of integrated courseware
· Perform quality assurance testing for all website functionality to ensure compliance with development standards and design constraints
· Contribute to the development of the Intranet web design parameters, style guidelines, and visual standards
· Lead other Training Developers in the correct development of Storyboards
· Communicate concerns and obstacles to success
· Support Shareable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) and Aviation (All Encompassing) Industry CBT Committee (AICC) standards
