Web Application Developer

Telvent, a global leader in IT solutions and information services has several exciting new opportunities for a highly talented Web Application Developer with proven experience within the IT industry. The Web Application Developer will be responsible for the technical design and analysis, according to the functional specifications from the Business Analysts.

Responsibilities:

* Web development

* Process design in collaboration with the Business and Functional Analysts

* Carry out system tests, technical tests, and applications monitoring

* Deployment to production environments

* Technical documentation and user manuals



Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field required

* 3+ years development experience for web applications required

* Prior working experience or in-depth knowledge of Intranet Operations

* Proficient in Web development: HTML, JavaScript, CSS

* Content Management System experience required (e.g. Fatwire)

* Data modeling/UML, test case analysis, and requirement analysis required

* Experience e with J2EE programming language required

* Familiar with C, C++, ASP, Visual Basic Script, LDAP

* MySQL, Web security and database design is a plus

* Fluency in Spanish highly preferred and availability to travel to Spain for training

* Flexibility and adaptability
