Title: Web Analytics Manager #65520 Location: San Francisco, CA As Web Analytics Manager, you will play a key role in supporting Autodesk's Web team and Business Units with analysis and insights on all web products and programs. You will work closely with the Web Marketing and Business Unit teams to understand their objectives and perform analyses and provide recommendations to help the team optimize programs. Focus on turning data into actionable insights to improve overall customer experience and optimize business and marketing ROI. Ideal candidate will have 8+ years of web analytic and web research experience. The suite of online properties to be analyzed includes the corporate autodesk.com website (with 33 regional sites in 19 languages) and multiple portal sites that provide value-added services to registered customers or online tools for our authorized partners. We also seek to measure the effectiveness of several online community / social-networking sites (such as http://area.autodesk.com), for end-users of our products. Primary Responsibilities: Lead site reporting activities including: -performance dashboards with a focus on web effectiveness, key performance indicators, and continuous site improvement -Web site visits, conversions, funnels, customer lifecycle and lifetime value -e-mail and search campaigns -support, service and community offerings -customer feedback and satisfaction ratings Integrate web metrics data with other measurement techniques including Flash interactions, online surveys, customer feedback and competitive benchmarks. Work with Web engineering team to optimize data sources, flows and database strategy. Manage a Web Metrics Analyst, direct their work and offer support and work with them to develop their skills and expertise in the area of Web Analytics. Manage, prioritize, and respond to ad-hoc requests for web performance analysis from internal stakeholders and web project teams. Requirements: Strong analytical skills; able to review large amounts of data and to form hypotheses and draw meaningful patterns and insights from disparate data sources. Strong critical thinking skills; able to understand goals and objectives of web products and projects and provide recommendations regarding how to using web metrics, customer feedback and market or industry benchmarks to monitor success towards goals and objectives. Strong drive to achieve results and focus on continuous improvement. Strong communication skills; able to clearly communicate and present findings/recommendations to team members and senior management. Experience in using Web analytic tools, experience with Hitbox preferred. Excellent project management skills. Past test design, implementation, and analysis experience. Must have basic knowledge of javascript, HTML, web logs databases and data warehousing. Strong Excel skills, knowledge of SQL and SAS a plus. Detail oriented with a high standard for quality in the creation of communication documents. Enjoys working in a fast paced, results oriented environment. Self motivated and able to work independently.
