Web Administrator/Project Manager

The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust is responsible for the full implementation of the Tessitura patron relationship management system throughout the entire Cultural District. The department's mission is to foster and support a collaborative, Customer Relationship Management system with a shared database for the Cultural District, and other cultural entities in the Pittsburgh area leveraging the Tessitura Arts Enterprise Software application. Currently, the department supports and extends the system for nine, independent organizations and over twenty product lines - inclusive of single ticketing, subscription packages, group sales, marketing and fund raising activities. The Tessitura Web Administrator/Project Manager is to provide overall support and maintenance in all aspects for the cultural district's web applications. Maintain existing code and design and implement more efficient strategies. This position will be responsible for all administrative tasks for the internal and external web sites. The core responsibility is to provide an excellent e-commerce experience to all end users of our websites and troubleshoot day to day issues. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:* Maintain existing .Net applications; work with and develop existing code to enhance application functionality; perform general website maintenance* Responsible for the maintenance and technical delivery of web applications and e-commerce solutions* Work closely with our clients, project team, Marketing and IT staff, designers and consulting firms* Administer code revisions, content management system, and server updates* Work closely with project team and software vendors in advancing existing API gateway* Determine appropriate architecture and other technical solutions, develop documentation and make relevant recommendations to clients* Maintain all site certificates and domain registrations* Design, testing and implementation of new web based technologies* Provide website analytics, reports and trendsEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:* Experience with ASP.NET, MS SQL, ASP AND IIS configuration a must* Strong understanding of Relational Database concepts and SQL programming* Experience with Server-side Java, Perl, Servlets, CGI, CSS, JavaScript and HTML, AJAX, C#, PHP, Visual Safe Source* Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain in both a technical and non-technical manner* Working knowledge of other Internet Protocols (e.g., DNS, LDAP, Telnet, SMTP, SNMP)* Knowledgeable in mail servers* Strong project management skills* Knowledgeable in SharePoint technology a plus* Understanding of system development life cycle* Ability to complete multiple concurrent assignments and tasks, as well as demonstrate good judgment and maturity in decision making* Strong attention to detail and accuracy* Ability to work some weekend/evening hours* BS in computer science or a related field, or significant equivalent experience
