WLAN Software Engineer
WLAN Software Engineer for our leading wireless systems client. This a full time position with excellent benefits (4 weeks vacation to start, 401k, relo) and the company will transfer an H1 visa.
Design and develop highly complex software for a variety of embedded wireless platforms. Engineer will be responsible for the successful integration of WLAN radios into ruggedized handheld terminals. Ideal candidates will have strong embedded microprocessor design experience with ARM and x86 architectures.
- Experience with WLAN standards (802.11a/b/g/e) - Experience with network security protocols (WPA/WPA2, EAP, TLS, CCX) is highly desirable. - Experience with Internet protocol document standards, such as XML, XML Schema, HTTP, HTTPS, and SOAP is a plus. DCS
- Experience with networking protocols: TCP/IP, UDP, FTP, client/server applications.
- Demonstratable success in embedded microprocessor software design on ARM architectures. Mobile embedded computer platform design experience preferred. - Experience with network protocol stack design and Microsoft networking software. -
++ Experience with Windows CE, Windows XP, Win32 API, DLL, Visual Studio development, .NET framework and .NET Compact Framework are pluses.
