Webmaster/Graphic Designer

The Webmaster / Graphic Designer will play a key role in the creation, posting and maintenance of content, graphics and editing elements relating to Eloqua's web properties and work towards enhancing the overall user experience on these sites.

 

The successful candidate will understand the technical models of the sites and when necessary,

work closely with Eloqua's Online Marketing Team, technology partners and vendors to provide

input regarding navigation, architecture, site design, content management and site maintenance.

 

The individual will manage incoming updates/change requests and be responsible for managing the Content Management System (CMS) (Clickability) style sheets and Eloqua brand guidelines relating to the sites. This person will also work with external vendors when required to manage the deployment of new features and site functionality.

 

Responsibilities:

 

1. Content Management (using Clickability) 

 

Includes managing content updates, and developing new content using existing site templates,

publishing tools and style sheets. 

Ensuring pages, links and images are loading and working correctly.
Manage projects and processes for the design, support and maintenance of the site. 

 

2. Website Monitoring & Reporting:


Working with the IT operations team, coordinate regular reporting on site performance and other measurements. 

Provide support and input into technical, architectural and content management issues.

 

3.  Online Program Development:

 

Work with the Online marketing Team to deploy programs and initiatives designed to drive web traffic, conversion, and other marketing goals.

Liaise with agency/design/CMS vendors, as required.

 

 

Qualifications:

 2— 3 years experience in an interactive agency or content management roleAdvanced communication skills, written and oral in English Ability to demonstrate a good eye for web design and general communication creativeGood understanding of the Internet.Strong working knowledge of  Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, HTML, XHTML, CSS, Javascript, ASPFamiliarity with SaaS CMS platforms such as Clickability and Apache Velocity code are definite assetsKnowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word; excellent knowledge of Internet Proven project management skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in parallel. Requires minimal to no supervision; takes initiative; works well under pressure. Strong attention to detail. Ability to manage external vendors and services as required. Knowledge of portal best practices Team player. Education, experience and technical skillsBachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Fine Arts, Journalism, Literature, Management, Communications, Computer Science, or Marketing
