The company: Our client designs the most advanced and reliable RF instruments, switches and switch matrices on the market with the ability to solve problems that is unmatched in the industry because of their expertise and flexibility. A full service custom solutions provider that designs and builds Custom Test Interface Units for wireless, aerospace and defense, ATE systems and telecom industries. Their expertise includes RF, microwave, and millimeter-wave interface design.
Your responsibilities:
· Thorough knowledge and ability to create RF block diagrams, schematics and other documents in the development of Client’s products per customer specifications and requirements.
· Work directly with ME designers to assure product design meets all customer specifications and requirements.
· Create documented work instructions for production based on customer requirements. Provide redline mark ups to assure production has current and accurate work instructions.
· Assure test requirements are clear and documented. May review test results to assure product is conforming to all customer requirements
· May review customer Automated Test Procedures and documents per customer requirements.
· Responsible to use ESD protection devices and follow ESD procedures while handling the product.
· Experience with R&D and Manufacturing, creating product designs and overseeing production changes.
· Understands all concepts of data file management including:
o Backup Data
o Revision Control, including automated revision control process
o Securing engineering data
o Data Vault management
o Document retrieval
· Participates in documentation research for parts included in the Engineering change package ensuring accuracy, completeness and adherence to change control policies/procedures and design standards.
· Provides recommendations, makes decisions, and/or escalates based on the needs of the situation.
· Familiar with Bills of Material (BoMs), Engineering Change records, and ERP systems.
Other responsibilities -
· Participates in the creation of a cohesive work environment – enabling a work group environment.
· Strong team work and interpersonal skills.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Uses quality control methodologies to improve existing processes and to identify process control opportunities.
· Ability to use word processing and flow charting software tools.
· Familiar with e-mail, use of the Internet, and misc. software applications.
Your profile:
· Electrical Engineering degree (Masters preferred) and work experience in the Electrical Engineering RF Test and Measurement field (minimum of 10 years applicable experience).
· Familiar with Bills of Materials structure and Change Order processes as it relates to engineering documentation.
· Experience with SolidWorks
· Understanding of an integrated enterprise system database.
· Expertise with RF, microwave, network analyzer and measurement theory
· In-depth knowledge, understanding, and application of engineering documentation standards and practices and engineering/manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge and understanding of product structures.
