Vulnerability Analyst

Vulnerability Analyst

Currently we are looking for vulnerability analysts to contribute to our consulting efforts with several clients.

Specifically, we seek a Computer Scientist to:Analyze and reverse engineer software applications, operating systems, and embedded firmware to discover vulnerabilitiesWrite code to demonstrate that any discovered vulnerabilities due in fact enable undesired activity that works in a lab environmentDevelop software to interface to custom and semi-custom hardwareWork with customers and other engineers to design and satisfy requirementsParticipate in all phases of the product lifecycle development from initial design to final product release

Required Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or mathematicsThree years of directly related work experience

Required Technical SkillsThree years of software reverse engineering experienceExperience with software reverse engineering tools such as IDA-Pro, Hexrays, SoftICE, Olydbg, etc.Operating system internals in at least one of Unix, Linux, or Cisco IOS. Device driver experience is a plusProgramming languages- C, C++, and assembly languageProcessors- familiarity or experience with a wide range of microprocessors. Typical platforms include X86, PowerPC, ARM, and 8051 variantsCommunications- experience with packet based networking protocols including TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, etc.Development environment- x86 based cross compilers, open source compilers, debuggers, and simulators

Required Personal SkillsThe ability to work both independently and within a teamSelf-motivition, creativity and problem solving abilitiesThe ability to operate in a less structured, free-thinking environmentThe desire to work hard and create some incredible technology

U.S. citizenship is required. A Dept of Defense security clearance is a definite plus.
