Management of five Sales Engineering managers while reporting to Worldwide VP Sales Engineering. As part of the NetSuite sales team you will direct and manage pre-sales resources throughout the sales cycle. Provide technical/functional leadership to the sales team in the development and implementation of customer applications and customer products. Participate in account planning and strategy development. RESPONSIBILITIES: · Management – Responsible for the day to day management and development of five Sales Engineering Managers as direct reports. · Resource Coordination – Ensure that specialized resources are fully and effectively scheduled and utilized · Marketing – Work closely with Product Marketing to ensure that specialized resources are properly organized and prepared to support various marketing initiatives throughout the year. · Sales – Work with the Director of Sales and Sales Managers to formulate sales strategies and execution plans. · Product Direction – The Director Sales Engineering’s direct reports are experts in their fields and as such, are acutely aware of a product/solution’s strengths, weaknesses and areas for improvement. The Director Sales Engineering is expected to give voice to these issues at regular Product Management/Product Development meetings. JOB REQUIREMENTS:· Prior management experience in a high-tech setting · Positive, professional, executive image· Extensive knowledge of application technology and the software industry, products and solutions.· Strong experience with ERP, CRM and e-commerce applications· Supervise and coordinate pre sales strategy and solution packaging· Assist in the development of short, medium and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives· Regularly interact across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met· Knowledge of software industry relating to all aspects of SaaS solutions· Demonstrated leadership skills · Strong presentation skills· Ability to travel as required· Corporate experience interacting with office of CIO, COO, CEO· Deep knowledge of application software (ERP, CRM, E-commerce)· Prior experience in enterprise software sales, systems integration and pre sales support as Director/VP desirableQualifications/Skills: Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related filed with fifteen years experience in the occupation or as a systems analyst.
