VMware/IIS Server Engineer

Full Time, Temporary/Contract/Project Job Category: Other VMware/IIS Server Engineer Local Client is seeking a Network Engineer for a contract to hire position. This would be a progression eventually to a BA or PM role.Minnetonka, MN6-month contract to hireWe need candidates with 2+ years of VM Ware experience and are looking to eventually get into a BA or PM role. Candidates will also need to have excellent communication, great documentation, and will thrive under pressure.As a Technical Analyst in the Infrastructure team you will provide support for business unit-specific applications and development tools. Initially, two x 3 month contracts for 6 months total, then potential conversion.Responsibilities: - Analyze, design and prepare new technologies and modify and maintain existing infrastructure; - Act as the liaison between development teams, business owners, internal IT shared services division, project managers and our business partners; - Support existing infrastructure/systems/technologies; - Participate in project planning, solutioning, and time-estimate efforts; - Understand and make recommendations on emerging technologies; - Develop and maintain/ document an in-depth understanding of our specific technologies. - Change Management Coordination - Reporting/ Metrics/ SLAs- account management and upper management reporting - Audit Coordination and Management (both internal and external), coordinating with outsource vendors as needed -Proven ability to handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously. -Works well in application support/ triage situations.
