VC++ Software Engineer (Tech Lead role for #1 Financial Firm)
VC++ Software Engineer / Technical Lead for #1 financial systems firm.
This company is breaking new barriers in the trading systems industry. The VISION for this firm is to create the world’s largest Institutional Marketplace – they are expanding rapidly and building new global teams and products.
They hire the best and brightest from Microsoft, Google, Goldman, etc. The environment is highly interactive and technology is at the forefront of the company’s success. There is a newly created role for an innovative VC++ Software Engineer due to the success and expansion of the company and the group.
This group focuses on Streaming Liquidity, Connectivity and OMS/OMSI. Any experience working alongside Architects/Lead developers at a Hedge Fund to sync up their OMS and deal with these specific types of technical challenges would be very helpful.
The VC++ Software Engineer/Tech Lead will develop, test, and maintain a global OMS integration and FIX connectivity infrastructure.
The key is Deep C++ with Windows background (VC++/Win 32/SDK/STL/ATL) with strong multithreading and FIX.
Focus is all server side back end development so any Database knowledge is a plus
You should have extensive experience with design patterns, object oriented design, distributed systems, and software architecture. Experience with multithreading, MSVC, MFC, ODBC and COM/IDL is highly desired.
Further experience with FIX, network programming, event driven models, C#, Python, or C++ will be given special consideration.
Compensation includes Base + Bonus + Equity!
