We have a diverse set of projects that span machine learning, information retrieval, social networking, distributed systems and p2p problems.  Recent releases include Photosynth, Silverlight Deep Zoom, and Entity Extraction in Live Search. We have an equally diverse mix of people in Live Labs comprised of the company’s best engineers, world-renowned scientists and world-class product designers.  You will be working on a project that seeks to understand the world’s information using advanced machine learning techniques to classify and extract information.  If you’re tired of living in a world of simple keywords and ten blue links, this is the place for you. We're looking for a talented developer who is passionate about creating world class user experiences. Ideally, you have a stellar track record that reflects your outstanding development skills and entrepreneurial drive. You also have a strong aesthetic sense and a deep appreciation for good product design. You are very comfortable coding in the .net platform and are proficient in developing web applications using Silverlight and/or Ajax/DHTML. Expertise in WPF, web services, databases and C++ would be a plus. A Bachelors in Computer Science or related discipline is required along with 3 years experience in a development role.
