US Regional Marketing Specialist

Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic US team. Working as part of the global relationship marketing team, the person in this role is responsible for assisting to generate leads in the US through the timely planning, coordination, support and implementation of regional activities which leverage, promote and support the broader global marketing strategy.

 

Specific duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

Manage the US Regional Marketing Plan:

· In consultation with the Senior Vice President & General Manager Americas and the Business Development Manager, develop a draft regional marketing plan for global marketing approval.

· Manage and implement the approved regional marketing plan in conjunction with the global marketing team.

· Manage the budget and ROI of individual activities to ensure they meet the company guidelines.

 

Strategic Marketing Support and Analysis:

· Monitor and report on local competitive environment, new initiatives, new products, new customers.

· Research and recommend successful and effective local marketing campaigns or new initiatives and potential local list rentals from magazines and other sources.

 

Event Management:

· Provide project management plan and timeline of all local activities to be undertaken.

· Liaise with Event Manager to provide support for all local event activities such as sourcing venues, arranging AV equipment, logistics of equipment and collateral, travel and accommodations, sourcing giveaways, and branding.

· Provide thorough post event reporting including analysis of event success, collating staff feedback, number of leads and visitors.

 

Partner Program Marketing Support:

· Drive the initiative and support the Business Development Manager with the cultivation of partnerships through new program development and marketing initiatives.

· Work with partners to develop joint marketing opportunities.

 

General Marketing Coordination:

· Coordinate local production and supply of marketing collateral to ensure the material meets deadlines.

· Manage US marketing stock levels and provide weekly report

· Manage web demo program and ensure information is current and up to date.

· Act as local contact to assist in producing US customer testimonials and case studies.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:

· Marketing degree plus 3-5 years of marketing experience

· Proficiency in a variety of computer software applications, specifically Microsoft Office and customer relationship management databases

· Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and listening) and confident to present to groups

· Ability to develop and present an argument

· Well organized, attention to detail, strong follow-up/follow-through skills, dependable, strong work ethic

· Analytical and innovative thinker

· Flexible and able to embrace change

· Energetic and enthusiastic team player

· IT or EDA experience would be advantageous
