Location: san rafael, CA 94901 Employment Type: Full Time, Temporary/Contract/Project Expected Duration: 5+ to 7 Years Pay Rate: 60.00 - 80.00 USD /year Reference Code: 1001112484 Web Developer sought for North Bay based Software Manufacturing Corporation. Qualified candidate will be well experienced with Web 2.0 technologies and will be responsible for prototyping and developing a new web-site for creating and sharing digital designs and integrating various community-based services. This is a contract position with permanent potential. Must be open minded about that.  Requirements: * Languages/environments: HTML/DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, XHTML, XML, XSL, AJAX, PHP * Working knowledge of Photoshop or similar graphics programs and visual design proficiency * General UI background (Information architecture, site flow, browser capabilities, etc.)* Experience with web standards, usability, and accessibility principles * Attention to detail and ability to take direction, execute, and communicate new ideas* Excellent problem solving and reasoning skills * Ability to work within a highly dynamic, startup-like environment * Ability to function in a small team where team members typically have multiple responsibilities * A strong desire to employ creative solutions * Good team player* A bachelors degree or above in Computer Science or a related field with a minimum of 5 years experience  Desired Skills and Education: * Ability to translate rough concepts into working prototypes.* Familiarity with various development methodologies, in particular Agile/SCRUM. * Design tools: Photoshop, Fireworks, Illustrator.* Multimedia authoring applications: Flash, Director This candidate should be prepared for a highly motivating work environment where creative ideas and original thought will be encouraged.
