Tucson Site Communications Manager

Overview:
We're looking for a motivated, energetic communications professional to manage communications across our small business support function and Tucson site internal and external communications. This role will partner closely with the small business support and Tucson site leadership team, which spans across Intuit businesses and functions.

Internal Communications Responsibilities: Champion creative, effective communication strategies for Tucson site and Small Business Group Support organization.

- Partner with HR and PR to create and implement communications programs that help drive employee engagement by shaping mindset around the business strategy.

- Be the trusted communications advisor to the vice president of support and director of human resources. Establish strong relationship with client leaders…coaching and advising on communications issues…anticipating communication needs and earning "partner" status.

- Provide direction and influence across all levels of employees to encourage adoption of communication messages and channels.

- Drive execution of communications projects and an integrated communications channels across small business support and Tucson site including; newsletter, intranet, email, skip levels, all hands, blogs, etc.

- Provide communication leadership and direction for Tucson site network activities, and promote participation by all employees.

- Leverage new communications channels to encourage user-contributed content and reach non-US based employees.

External Communications Responsibilities: Execute communications strategies to strengthen the company's brand and reputation in the Tucson community

- Manage relationships with key external stakeholders: build strong link to Tucson media and community leaders.
- Be primary company spokesperson for proactive and reactive media opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- 5-10 years of communications experience
- Experience in or skilled at serving as company spokesperson
- Ability to think strategically
- Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to interface and communicate with executives and employees at all levels.
- Extensive tactical experience in the communication field.
- Experience in creating and executing strategies using new communication mediums such as blogs, user-generated content systems, podcasts, etc.
- Experience in call center environment and with offshore employees a plus.
