Responsibilities:

Firm is seeking a candidate to help manage a small team of 4 Engineers and support a trading floor.

 

Requirements:

 

Hands on experienced manager to guide and manage a technical staff supporting our trading floor operations:

 

The right person will have both technical skills and people skills to help guide and resolve technical solutions and report results to management in both a verbal and written form.

 

 

An experience manager able to resolve technical, staffing and project issues is a must requirement, and the manager should have hands on experience;

 

 

Technical Skill Requirements:

Solaris operating system- UNIX

 

RMDS Reuters Market data systems

 

EMS data storage solutions

 

CITRIX

 

Strong Windows Operating Systems (Microsoft server 2003 / IIS for web based application usage. )

 

VMware for both server and desktop environments.

 

Trading floor applications such as Reuters dealing, Price aggregation systems, Bloomberg etc.

 

A minimum of 5 + years experience in this field
