Testing Manager

Location: Bloomfield, CT 06002 Employment Type: Full Time, Temporary/Contract/Project Expected Duration: 5+ to 7 Years Reference Code: 1001125871 Currently we are looking for a Testing Manager for one of our larger clients in the Hartford area. This opportunity is a contract opportunity.The Testing Manager will be:- Collaborating with the Enterprise Release Manager, ASG Quality Assurance and Release Management teams to establish the integrated and release level test plans (including release level testing milestones) for Healthcare releases. - Performing analysis of project and ASG level test strategies to create the overall Release Test Strategy - Tracking and reporting on the progress of testing - Facilitating daily testing status calls to identify and coordinate resolution of testing issues and risks - Coordinating the use of the integrated and release testing environments by performing compatibility assessments - Recommending new or modified Quality Assurance (QA) procedures and standards and assists in the development and implementation of QA metrics for assessing the quality of delivered application software - Supporting the planning and execution of the integrated data setup for releases - Interfacing with Healthcare PMO Program and Project leaders, ASG Leaders, ASG Quality Assurance Teams, IT Operations and Enterprise Quality Management Project Test Leads. The Testing Manager will be skilled in:- Scope management, Planning & estimating, Issue, Risk and Communication Management. - Ability to review facts and escalate issues with recommendations and contingencies - Proficient in MS Project, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, VISIO - General understanding of multiple processing platforms (desktop, distributed, mainframe) - Solid facilitation skills - Ability to work well in an empowered team environment, supporting each other, trusting each other, taking initiative and assuming leadership roles as they surface - Ability to work well with matrix organizations - High sense of urgency - Good communication skills: written and oral, Active listening, seeking to understand others views, communicating at the appropriate level for the audience - Ability to function independentlyThis is a great opportunity within a great organization...If this opportunity sounds like you please feel free to give me Richard Katz a call at 203-978-1200 or drop me an email at richardkatz@technisource.com .No 3rd party resumes!No Sponsorship!  Contact: PLEASE E-MAIL RESUMES TO: Apply by Email
