Territory Sales Manager - Northeast
The Opportunity
The Territory Sales Manager (TSM) is a senior member of the NetMotion sales organization that reports to the SVP of Sales and Marketing. This is a remote position that is ideally based in the NY Metro area, Boston or Philadelphia. The TSM is responsible for driving significant revenue growth from non-government customers within the region, which encompasses New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Quebec and eastern Canada, from both existing NetMotion customers and prospects selling both directly and with channel partners. The TSM must have a demonstrated ability to proactively manage and develop a large, diverse sales territory and effectively manage a cross-functional team consisting of an inside sales representative and sales engineer.

Your Role as a Key Contributor
As a TSM, you will the strategic revenue driver of the Northeast sales team.
Types of Ongoing Projects and Responsibilities
· Responsible for non-government related revenue generation and market share growth of NetMotion’s products in the territory.
· Effectively identify and drive a large number of sales opportunities through the qualification process and to closure.
· Manage what is typically a long, complex sales cycles with large organizations.
· Communicate with and sell to networking, security and business line managers within large organizations.
· Work with NetMotion’s existing local distribution relationships in order to maximize revenue generation, including building awareness of NetMotion’s value proposition within partner organizations and assisting those partners on customer sales calls and in closing business.
· Responsible for customer satisfaction within NetMotion’s existing base in the territory.
· Actively participate as a member of the NetMotion team by sharing knowledge and committing to the achievement of common business objectives.
.Your Qualifications
· 5+ years of enterprise sales experience.
· Proven track record of sales success within the enterprise software industry – including quota performance and revenue growth.
· Experience selling enterprise security or networking products, particularly VPNs, is highly desirable.
· Proven track record of success of working within a fast-paced, rapidly evolving start-up environment.
· Experience selling to verticals such as insurance, utilities, healthcare, telecommunications or other verticals with a large number of mobile field workers is desirable.
· Experience selling wireless products to enterprise customers is desirable.
· Experience working out of a home office as a remote employee is required.
· Outstanding communication, planning and organizational skills.
· Willingness to travel +50%
· Undergraduate degree required; MBA preferred.
Physical Requirements
This position requires the manual dexterity sufficient to operate phones, computers, and other office equipment. The person in the role must communicate clearly using the English language to accurately convey information and be able to hear at normal speaking levels both in person and over the telephone. Vision correctable to 20/40 is required to review written materials. Virtual office is set up by employee. 50+% travel utilizing air flights and trains, as well as the ability to operate a vehicle to customer locations generally situated in offices and providing good working conditions with little or no exposure to extremes in noises or temperatures. There are little or no safety or health hazards. There is minimal lifting or climbing with this position. Meetings are usually performed in an office setting with appropriate business attire.
