DescriptionWe're seeking an experienced database administrator with programming and networking experience. This role is responsible for accessing a number of existing databases to supply data to our Applied Statisticians. Responsibilities also include database design with web interface, as well as installing, configuring and maintaining software including Windows Operating Systems, Oracle RDBMS, MS SQL Server and configuring net install applications. Individual will plan and implement hardware or software enhancements to improve performance, security, reliability and/or management.Individual will also troubleshoot and resolve computer related issues regarding data management within the group.Required SkillsGood communication and interpersonal skills coupled with strong organization and troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of SQL, Visual Studio, and at least one programming language (such as Visual Basic, VB.Net, ASP.Net) are required along with a working knowledge of network architecture.Required Experience
2-5 years of experience with one or more database management systems such as Oracle, SQL Server or MS Access.2-5 years of programming experience with Visual Basic, or .Net2 years of experience working in a highly regulated industry To apply to this opportunity directly, please visit:
