Telesales - Inside Summit Sales Representative

Position Summary

Aberdeen Group, the leading provider of fact-based research is looking for a Telesales / Inside Summit Sales Representative to drive attendees to Aberdeen’s executive summits.

 

We are seeking an experienced and organized telesales / inside sales representative to call our specialized lists to entice them to attend one of our upcoming executive summits (conferences). Aberdeen's series of executive summits started several years ago after we reached out to end users and technology vendors to identify the benefits of a research led conference. We have tailored our events to meet the needs of our valued sponsors and attendees by creating agendas that align key industry challenges and specific goals. Our summits are an intimate setting of roughly 200-250 executive level end user participants seeking to hear from and network with industry thought leaders, while seek technology solutions from our valued sponsors.

 

Key Responsibilities: (consists of but are not limited to)

 Become familiar with the event you will be marketing. You will be given a telephone and email script as well as training to ensure you can effectively articulate the event message Contact individuals on specified research lists that will be provided Provide an efficient and elegant message to prospects, provide them event collateral when requested Register event attendees

Requirements:

 2-3 years in a TeleSales or Telemarketing capacity Excellent verbal and written communication skills Mastery of: Office Automation Software, SalesForce.com, Web navigation Four year degree from an accredited school, or equivalent life experience High energy, self-starter Strong work ethic Collaborative team player Desire to learn sales process
