Sales/Retail/Business Development Education Level: Professional Reference Code: PCK314-10964 Telesales Executive, SalesWorks - Dow Jones & Co Job ID: 250323Overview:The Telesales Executive is responsible for generating leads and creating new sales opportunities for the sales teams selling Dow Jones, Consumer Technology Services specialized products and solutions. The particular focus is on setting new sales appointments for Sales Specialists with identified prospects.Position Description: • Coordinate and partner with the Inside and Direct Sales Specialists to ensure new opportunities are properly identified and qualified. • Create, maintain and manage strong prospect list• Meet or exceed weekly call requirements and appointment setting goals• Maintain timely, accurate and appropriate client/activity records in the global CRM system• Develop necessary internal relationships with Product, Marketing & Sales • Work with Specialists to grow revenue to meet or exceed established targets.• Regularly present and demonstrate specialized products and solutions to internal and external customers to provide best possible exposure to and understanding of the value proposition of same.• Keep abreast of, and internally communicate, information relating to market/industry developments, competitors and client requirements• Assist in driving marketing campaigns and qualifying leads.Position Requirements:• Driven by results• College graduate with Finance, Business or relevant degree OR Previous telesales experience with proven performance over at least a one to two year period• Ability to identify and qualify opportunities within existing accounts and prospective customers• Good organisational sensitivity and commercial awareness, with a good perception of client requirements• High level of initiative and self-motivation and ability to work in a competitive team environment.• Proactive, with a “can do” attitude and the ability to adapt in a fast changing environment• Good planning and organizational skills• Excellent oral and written communication skills a must• An informed understanding of the internet and intranet capabilities and in depth awareness of the competition• Previous experience within either the on-line business information industry, financial or corporate market place a plus.
