Technical Writer - Information DesignerOur Irvine, CA campus is searching for an Information Designer/Technical Writer to join our Shared Customer Centered Documentation team. An Information Designer is responsible for creating, editing, and updating online help and software user manuals for product releases. Sage Software offers award-winning products and services that have revolutionized the way small and mid-sized companies do business in today's marketplace.   Responsibilities of Information Designer/Technical Writer: · Interpret technical specs to obtain information necessary for creating online Help/manuals · Must be organized, detail-oriented self-starter who works well with others and is used to deadline-driven environment. · Communication and interview skills are critical for this position · Must be able to follow established writing format/style · Experience with online tutorials and usability testing a plus   Qualifications for Information Designer/Technical Writer: · Degree in English, Journalism, or Technical Writing · At least 1 year experience in technical writing field. · Working knowledge of RoboHelp HTML, FrameMaker, and Dream Weaver · Working knowledge of Captivate a plus · Experience working in Agile environment a plus   How do you know if Sage is the right company for you?
