Technical Writer
If you’re a technical writer that has excelled at writing documentation for ITPRO audiences, the Dynamics AX Content Publishing team is offering an opportunity to take your skills to a new level. We’re looking for a writer with experience documenting core MS technologies, including .NET, SQL Server, Office Server System and/or IIS. This position allows you to refine and extend that knowledge by coupling the integration of those technologies with Microsoft Dynamics AX. System administrator/foundation technical writer:Researches, develops, and writes documentation for ITPRO and system administrator audiences. Completed documentation components must clearly describe complex state-of-the-art software architectures and ERP installation, upgrade and implementation scenarios. You must excel at collaborating closely with a cross-cultural content publishing team, as well as your product team, content stakeholders, and partners. You must be a flexible self-starter with a sharp focus on shipping high-quality customer-driven products and a desire to continually improve the content. Your expertise in database management, client/server technologies, and networking should be strong. Experience with Windows Server, Windows SharePoint Services, and/or Office SharePoint Server also is preferred. Qualifications:· B.A./B.S. or graduate degree in a communications-related field, Computer Science, or Information Systems.· Knowledge of and expertise in ERP software systems strongly preferred· Five or more years of experience developing assistance content for system administrators and ITPROs in a variety of delivery formats · Knowledge of trends in the user assistance and content publishing industry Ability to learn new tools, technologies, and processes quickly and independently Microsoft offers an excellent benefits package to full-time employees including medical, dental, vacation, employee stock purchase plan, and 401k, plus some great extras including: our 24-hour nurse line, stay fit program, product discounts, and paid infant care leave.
