As a Technical Support Engineer, you would work with our products and provide support to network engineers, sales engineers, customer's technicians, and system administrators who are diagnosing, repairing and debugging complex hardware and software products. Individuals must be willing to work non-standard hours. Responsibilities Provide phone and email-based technical support to network engineers, sales engineers, customer's technicians, and systems administrators who are diagnosing, repairing and debugging complex hardware and software products. Assist customers in the resolution of problems by determining the severity of problem. Reproduce problems using customer similar hardware/software platform. Follow standard practices and procedures to track problems and perform 100% follow through with the customer. Maintain technical expertise in the assigned product area. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Preferred Skills and Experience B.S. in Computer Science or related field 1 year of UNIX experience and 1 year of networking knowledge preferably TCP/IP, Sendmail, DNS and http/https Firewall experience.
