Technical SalesDescription: Technical Sales Representative is responsible for providing distinctive customer service experience to customers. In this role the individual is empowered to facilitate customer appointments at the first point of contact using tools and training provided. Through effective diagnosing of computer systems the individual will provide customers with solutions and up-sell additional services." Acknowledge, evaluate and appropriately handle incoming calls and emails from customers." Handle multiple Citrix sessions relating to customer inquiries." Identify technical issues by thoroughly examining systems using diagnostic tools." Assist customers with service selection and schedule appointments." Be accountable for up-selling additional products and services." Apply job knowledge to provide accurate and up-to-date information." Guide customer service related issues to resolution." Consistently meet productivity goals. Requirements: " Outstanding verbal and written communication skills." Ability to multi-task with attention to detail." Strong proficiency in computer diagnostics relating to both software and hardware issues" Ability to work independently with minimal supervision." Effective in overcoming rejections to achieve sales objectives." Excellent time management and self-management practices." Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and working knowledge of Internet usage and navigation." Strong working knowledge of computer systems and familiarity with electronic peripherals.Education / Experience:" Previous call-center or helpdesk experience with a focus on selling products and/or services." High School Diploma or equivalent required. Candidates failing to provide supporting documentation will not be considered for this position." Industry certification(s) including A+ or MCP highly desirable.Home Office Requirements:" High Speed Internet access." Dedicated Windows based computer with XP Pro at a minimum." Quiet and private workspace."
