Technical Lead - Intelligent Data Capture

As a rapidly growing intelligent data capture solutions provider in the industry, Brainware, Inc. is seeking a Technical Lead who will be responsible for designing, building, testing and documenting Brainware applications.

 

Responsibilities: Develop and demonstrate functional and technical understanding of the application Build and test modules Leverage team leads, peers, and project resources to ensure deliverable quality Fully resolve issues, and when necessary, involve team lead in issue resolution Check accuracy and completeness of information Develop fundamental project management skills (point lists, to-do lists, estimating skills, status reporting) Actively share knowledge with other team members; assist other team members when appropriate Implement object fixes and complete work unit documentation. Prepare detailed design documents for enhancements Code work unit and participate in the code review with Support Team Lead Prepare potential test conditions, test data and conduct component test for the work units Report issues and status of modules to Project Manager Complete enhancement deliverables on time within budget with zero defects Facilitate team meetings and participate in other team activities including building team morale Execute month end close activities of the applications during the corresponding window of intercompany billing close schedule and work to complete all the tasks involved successfully on the specific window

 Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field 2+ years development experience with the Microsoft  platforms, including C#, VB.NET, ADO.NET, and ASP.NET 5+ years experience with object oriented programming, including strong working knowledge and experience with UML and design patterns Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle Systems integration experience Exposure to all aspects of the software development lifecycle

 

Software and Hardware Skills Requirements: Visual Basic 4.0/5.0/6.0 ADO SQL MS Access 2.0 97, 2000 MS SQL Server 6.5, 7.0 Oracle 9i or 10g ActiveX Win32 API C # HTML Windows NT Windows 2000 UNIX

 Experience with the following is desirable but not required:ASP.NET MS Word, MS Excel, MS Exchange Workflow Document Management Systems Optical Character Recognition (OCR) Networking/LANs, TCP/IP protocol 820 EDI record formats Lotus Notes Script BAPI (Business Application Programming Interface) Software for billing, order to cash, A/P, claims
