Technical Implementation Specialist

This is a full-time, permanent position based in Austin, TX, although you will spend a good portion of your time at our clients’ sites. S3 Matching Technologies was founded in 2001 and invented sophisticated algorithmic matching/reconciliation software for industries with very large volumes of complex data. S3 has implemented its TeraMatch® services in the financial services, health care, telecommunications and government industries.

Responsibilities:Travels to our client locations and configures our software applications – requirements definition, design, development, testing and implementation utilizing SQL. Ensures applications meet the architectural standards and are error freeBuilds enterprise architectural and/or infrastructure components, primarily using SQLData Analysis of client dataApplication Maintenance and Production Support – periodic maintenance releases of applications, including enhancements and defects. Looks for ways to enhance design of application for better maintainability and software reuse Process and Workflow DefinitionManages workload to deliver quality deliverables that meet requirements and timelines. Resolves issues or escalates to Manager, if necessary

Required Knowledge/Skills:Strong programming background in PLSQL is required; Experience with Oracle 10g environment preferred3+ years related experience in a technical or consulting roleAbility to interact professionally and confidently with high-profile, enterprise customersBachelor’s Degree or equivalent related experience

Preferred (but not required) Technical Skills:Experience with Java (programming, code reviews, troubleshooting)Experience with web servicesExperience with Oracle relational databasesKnowledge of Linux OS a plus Experience writing enterprise level customer-facing applications Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Warehousing
