Endeca is seeking experienced, talented technical consultants to join our Professional Services team. Every member of our team utilizes unique skills to create groundbreaking, world-class applications for high-performance, high-value, interactive information access. Responsibilities
- Design and implement Web-based applications of the Endeca Information Access Platform for our customers around the world
- Participate in the full lifecycle of a project, from sales and requirements definition through application and integration design through hands-on development and tuning, testing, deployment, and support
- Solutions are typically built with Java/JSP, .NET, ASP/COM, and XML, but you may be called on to learn and use other languages and platforms
- At time you may be called on to invent completely new ways to leverage the Endeca Information Access Platform for new markets and verticals
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related area
- 3 to 5 years experience building data driven Web-based applications
- Disciplined approaches to designing and developing applications and strong client-facing verbal and written communication skills
- Strong understanding of information storage and manipulation techniques including relational database practices
- Prior experience with search engines, object databases, data mining, OLAP, business intelligence tools, or network performance behavior a plus
- Willingness to travel up to 40% to regional client sites
