GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY:
Consultants work as part of a team in a consultative role for clients in the Entertainment industry. Radiant Systems Consultants perform work related to all phases of complex technology implementations by working directly with the clients and by engaging cross functional resources within the company. They are able to work in an unstructured and challenging environment that promotes creativity and that demands involvement and feedback from employees. Consultants believe in the Radiant vision and are willing to do what it takes to make that vision a reality.
The position will include implementing new software products (RTMS and RSM) and / or software modules in client labs as well as alpha and beta site locations. Additionally, specific project work including, but not limited to, SDM product testing, client lab support, and client upgrades. The role will be the primary liaison tracking development issues that are allocated to a release as well as support escalations.
The ideal candidate will be required to quickly develop a strong understanding of the product offering. You should be able to learn quickly and provide support to the internal team as well as the clients. You will be expected to juggle many different priorities, providing clients and leadership with proper communication. Approximately 10 - 50% travel will be required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
To support all facets of Radiant’s client projects including the opportunity to:
Externally:Provide analysis and recommendations to clients in the areas of technology, process improvement, or organizational change. Become an expert about Radiant products and services in the Entertainment DivisionWork as a part of a cross-functional team to deliver on client expectationsCommunicate with the client on a daily basis and ensure quality client deliverables are delivered timely to the clientBecome involved in planning and writing comprehensive solutions proposals and setting client expectationsGather client requirements and configure Radiant products to meet client’s needsPlan, arrange and conduct on-site implementation of software and hardware solutionsTrain client resources – from executives to theater employeesClient lab upgrades and support
Internally:Create support documentation of new features and configurations in regards to new implementations.SDM product testing with client configurationsManage and own projects from QE level to rollout with clients (SDM testing, Alpha, Beta, rollout)Utilize product and industry expertise to develop functional specifications to support both industry product development efforts and for client specific requirementsDocument procedures and constantly improve implementation methodsWork with Product Development team to continually improve products and tools

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:Bachelor’s Degree (Engineering, MIS or Computer Science preferred) or equivalent experience. At least 5 years of technology experience preferred.Technical Consulting (external, client facing) Custom application development exposure – software development lifecyclePrior large scale technology implementation experienceExperience with Jscript, FoxPro, SQL, XML (Development) and/orExperience with Networking and Relational Databases (Infrastructure)Exposure to network design and implementation (LAN & WAN)
