Technical Analyst RealEC (A Fidelity Information Services Company) is looking for a full time Technical Analyst The Technical Analyst is responsible for the technical documentation activities on multiple concurrent projects and participates in the entire development lifecycle. He/she actively monitors the ongoing technical documentation needs of each of the project teams and works collaboratively to implement solutions. Additionally, the technical analyst will assist in the design, prototype, and transition of projects to the support and customer service realms. Duties: •Participate in business requirements and software design reviews •Evaluate project requests •Create technical specifications •Manage/structure the documentation •Transition to support and customer service teams Requirements: •Knowledge of relational databases with a basic understanding of SQL. •Proficiency in writing Technical documentation (2+ years) •Working knowledge of Visual Basic, XML, .ASP, .NET •Knowledge of Mortgage Industry a plus Characteristics: To perform in this position successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following characteristics: Customer Service - Manages difficult or emotional customer situations; Responds promptly to customer needs; Responds to requests for service and assistance; Meets commitments. A.) from four-year College or university Fulltime work experience of 1-2 years Language Ability: Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public. Computer Skills: To perform this in this position successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS Windows, MS Office, MS Word, MS PowerPoint; MS Excel; MS Project; General knowledge of Internet Application Technologies including HTML, XML, .NET, and Internet protocols.
