Tech Services Analyst-Implementation

Overview

HCSS is looking for outstanding individuals who have experience or would like to make a move into the dynamic field of software technology. To qualify for this position you must have the ability to learn our products very quickly and an insatiable desire to help our customers succeed in their business. There are several products, all of which could be installed at the same customer site and cross over several departments and affect dozens of people, many of whom are not excited about changing the way they have been doing things. Some of our products have been enhanced for 20 years and there is a lot to learn. You must be very good at learning software, very good at working with customers, and very good at picking up on business issues. In addition, The Implementation Specialist will assess, design, and deliver comprehensive training and product support to satisfy the company’s customers and requirements.

Essential Position Functions

Regardless of experience, you must be good with software, have big picture ability, be able to understand customer goals and market goals. Typical responsibilities include:Work with new customers to assess their implementation requirementsEstablish and configure software for new accountsIdentify process and business problems, consult with customers, and negotiate, persuade, and influence customer decisions on solutions to resolve those problemsPerform Software installation, needs analysis, Setup and configuration, and Software trainingServe as a Project Planner on ImplementationsDevelop training curricula and/or recommend alternative programs that meet instructional goals and objectivesProvide ongoing account management support to newly implemented sitesDevelop and maintain a good relationship and image of the Company with customersSelect or develop training aids, including training handbooks, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, and other reference materialsAbility to travel up to 50% of the time, if necessary

Selection Criteria
The position requires experience or aptitude in the following: Technology product implementation and Account management experienceStrong knowledge of the heavy construction industry is a plus!Well developed teaching/training skillsEnjoys working with people in a variety of environments Is a team player, but must work on their own initiative Possesses a desire to help others Has the ability to work calmly under pressure Empathizes with customers and responds to their needs and concerns Has excellent verbal and written communication skills Has the ability to meet reasonable deadlines Project management, planning, goal setting and organizational skillsStrong analytical, conceptual, and logic skillsInnovative and creative thinking skillsProblem solving skills for complex problemsRelationship managementChange ManagementInfluence, persuasion and negotiationCollaboration and conflict managementBusiness process understanding Software skills in the following:Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, and ExcelMicrosoft Visio

College degree, experience in lieu of degree or a combination is acceptable
