The Development Team at Ionia Corporation is full of driven, ambitious, work hard/play hard types, in a unique, cutting edge environment specializing in integration solutions and services primarily in the healthcare and manufacturing industries. The ideal candidate has strong interpersonal skills with the ability to easily and effectively interact with technical, non-technical, support, and business staff. This candidate should be comfortable working within a standard SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle) framework and have excellent software development skills.  Candidate must possess strong technical expertise with Microsoft.NET (C#), ASP .NET, BizTalk, SQL Server, and database query languages (SQL).Duties and Responsibilities Senior level developer who will be responsible for development and implementation of complex application integration on diverse platforms Conduct application design sessions with business users and technical staff to define business requirements and business process models Communicate effectively with users to determine requirements of new processes and applications or modifications to existing processes and applications Prepare and update complex preliminary and detailed design documentation Prepare process models, data models, flowcharts and other documentation for present and proposed business processes and automated systems to verify design logic and processes Develop comprehensive test plans with the users, coordinate test activities and/or help execute test components to ensure changes to existing programs or new programs meet business requirements and work as designed Review documentation and perform quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with program documentation, procedural standards, and Government Quality and Regulatory Laws Assist in the diagnosis of problems associated with automated applications and write detailed specifications for developing or correcting software for handling complex processes to improve system performance and/or accuracy; this may include training, presentations, or system demonstrations. Desired Experience and Skills 7+ years experience Technology Lead/Architect Expert level technical knowledge and hands-on experience in Microsoft technologies - .Net 2.0, C#, SQL Server 2005 and related disciplines such as object-oriented programming, standards-compliant Web development, and xml/web services Self-starter who can work on complex projects with minimal guidance/oversight Action oriented- willing to take initiative to follow up on all projects and deadlines Experience working with multiple cross-functional teams (including remote teams) Ability to complete tasks on time/budget and with minimal management Proven ability to work in a fast paced environment with multiple Technology teams, on multiple concurrent projects, working with business leaders, Technology leaders, software engineers, system administrators, and 3rd party vendors Extremely organized and capable of tracking, managing, and resolving issues on multiple projects simultaneously   Nice to have/plus: BizTalk Server, EDI, HIPAA
