Location: San Diego, CA 92129 Employment Type: Full Time, Temporary/Contract/Project Pay Rate: 60.00 - 69.00 USD /hour Reference Code: 6653888944 APPLY BY E-MAIL!Tax Analyst Programmer II with a focus on Interview programming  Complete Description: Under the guidance of the Project Manager or Project Leader, the Tax Analyst Programmer maintains existing tax programs and related products as warranted by legislative changes, technological advances, changing market needs and customer suggestions. The TAP uses a set of tools to create data files, calculation routines and other components of the tax products. He or she is responsible for completing their assignments within established deadlines and free of significant error.Specifically, they will: * Within defined parameters, maintain and update simple and low exposure income tax products and related components including:- Calculations- Interview/input screens & input sheets- In-product help documentation- Letter, invoices, diagnostics, tables, etc.- Alternate filing (EF, 2D) functionality * Implement annual program enhancements within defined parameters, and, * Keep informed of current tax developments and effectively apply tax knowledge to assigned Federal and/or state products.Qualifications:A well-qualified candidate for this position will possess: * An extensive understanding of business taxation * A working knowledge of computer operations and operating systems * A basic understanding of programming functions, techniques or operations utilized in spreadsheet programs or other common computer applications * Strong research, written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, team-oriented environment** CPA, EA, or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or other business related field preferred
